Dear Praying Friends,
“The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” Psalm 145:9 I
can't help but meditate on God's goodness! He is good, even in the times we would consider “bad”. He always has a purpose for what He does and it is for our good. We sure do serve a GOOD God!!
The main project for the month of January was our home church offices. Flooring and
carpet tiles were put down, trim was hung, and painting was done. Signs were hung to identify the buildings on the property too. Terry was also able to meet with a local pastor to give some electrical advice; help some senior saints; and get our van ready for our trip in February.
February began with a quick trip to Grace Baptist in Oxford to look at some doors and
then it was time to pack up as we headed out of town on the 7th. We went to Crossroads Baptist in Indianapolis first. It was great to fellowship with the church family that Wednesday night. Terry was also able to look at plans for a canopy the church is looking to put on this spring. Our next stop was Victory Baptist in Albany, MO. We spent 4 days there with family, and Terry was also able to adjust some doors at the church and look at some dry wall repairs that need fixing. He decided it would take too much time this trip, so another trip will be planned to do that.
Then it was on to Texas! We arrived at Bearing Precious Seed in El Paso on Wednesday, the 15th. In our two weeks there we; got 3 of the vans ready for inspection, installed 5 new toilets, cleaned out the refrigerators, cabinets & pantry, installed a pellet stove, and enjoyed LOTS of fellowship with Brother Hector and sister Ofelia!! We were also able to help Faith Baptist Church move to a new location while there! Terry took down a piece of stage and patched some dry wall there. We were able to attend their first Sunday night service in the new building which was a blessing! Please pray for this small work in a city of so many people!!
Serving Until He Comes,
Terry & Wendy Davis
