It is such a blessing to have more hours of sunshine as the daylight gets longer. Hope you enjoy the picture of one of our beautiful sunrises! It is still quite cold with temperatures in the teens. We had some very strong, damaging winds from the north. However, we're glad for some days of sunshine among the cloudy ones! How appropriate that Christ is called the Light of the world! We pray that He will enlighten the hearts and minds of the unsaved around us that they will come to believe the truth of the Gospel! We are always encouraged by our times serving with the Timisoara Local Baptist Church on Sunday mornings. They recently had a special evening service in which anyone who wanted could sing a special song or read some verses or give testimony. We decided to take those who wanted to go from our church after our Sunday evening service, since our service is an hour earlier than theirs. Gina came with her grandson, David, and we all had a wonderful time. Enjoy the picture of some of the Ukrainian brothers and sisters singing. Please keep Ukraine in your prayers. People are still suffering so much there because of the constant bombings, power outages, and lack of food and medicine. One of the Ukrainian families that is coming to the church in Timisoara said their apartment building where their grandparents are staying was bombed. Thankfully, their family members are OK. Thank you for your prayers for our health. My migraines have not been as bad or debilitating, which is a huge blessing. I'm so glad when I can serve and do the work that needs to be done! There is still pain every day, but it is manageable and seems to be improving. Gina's family members continue to come and listen to the Word as we have our Sunday evening services at her house. Lusi, Gina's daughter-in-law, as well as Gina's grandchildren, Izabela, David, and Emanuel, have been coming at times. Cristi, Gina's unsaved son, also came and stayed for one of our services. He and Gina's husband, Ion (Yone), heard a clear salvation message about Lazarus and the rich man. Praise the Lord for those that are hearing the Word! It will not return void but will accomplish the work God has sent it to do. Please pray that Gina's unsaved family members will come to a saving knowledge of Christ. Mariana took a few weeks off of work for a medical break, and is doing a bit better. However, she now needs to go back to work, and working outside sweeping the streets is not good for her health. Please keep Mariana and her health in your prayers. Two of her granddaughters came to one of our services recently. Thank you for your prayers for us and our brothers and sisters here! God works through the prayers of His children, so please continue to lift us up in prayer. We pray that the Lord will bless your service to Him!
In His service, Jonathan, Kristy, Cory, and Marci
