Dear praying friends and supporting churches,
It’s hard to believe that we are already writing our first prayer letter for 2023. It was
a blessing that, after spending several Christmases away from our daughter while living in Portugal, we were able to spend this past Christmas with her. It has been such a joy to be able to spend time with her.
We are excited about what the Lord is doing at All Points Baptist Mission. We just
recently finished developing the Internship Program and we are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do with this program which allows Bible college students to have a hands-on experience on the mission field with a participating missionary. We are convinced that it will do one of three things, if not all three. First, the program will confirm the student’s call to missions. Next we believe it will create a deeper burden for souls.
Lastly, we pray that it will cancel any doubt that the student may have. David has already
been able to present the Internship Program to one Bible college in Ohio. Please pray with us that the program will be a help and an encouragement to those who are seeking to follow God’s will in the area of missions.
Our calendar is filling up for this year. As we travel we present our ministry in new
churches, represent All Points Baptist Mission and recruit new missionaries as well as give an update to our supporting churches. We are grateful for everyone who continues to support us as we seek to follow God’s will. Since All Points is a faith based ministry, and does not charge missionaries a fee, Julie and I continue to rely on the faithful financial support of churches. Please note the change of our sending church below to Calvary Baptist Church in New Philadelphia, Ohio, where the mission office is located. We thank the Lord for Pastor Snow and the church family for their warm welcome as new members.
We are looking forward to our annual Missionary/Chaplain Training Week at the
end of June. Plans are already being made as this year we will be able to host the training week in person instead of virtually like we have done the previous two years. There is nothing like fellowshipping in person with your fellow missionaries. We appreciate and pray for each of our missionaries and we pray that the great grace of God would be upon them as they serve on their respective fields.
Thank you for praying for David’s stomach issue. He had an appointment at the
gastrologist on January 6th that was cancelled due to a water break in the building. It was rescheduled for February 2nd. Please continue to pray as they eliminate possible causes and try to find a solution. He has felt much better recently.
We count it an honor and a privilege to serve our Lord and Savior Who willingly
came not to be ministered unto but to minister and to give His life a ransom for many. May we follow His example of committed humble service!
