Text: 1 John 5:1-13
Theme: What a Christian who is doubting their salvation needs.
1Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
? What makes us doubt our salvation or the salvation of someone else?
Matt 7:16-22
They will point at what they DO as proof to their salvation. Often we say that since we don’t see fruit or because of their sin they can’t be saved
? Does what is making us doubt have anything to do with our original salvation?
2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
