I was saved between the ages of 10-12 years of age after my Sunday School teacher gave the plan of salvation following her lesson.
Following graduation I attended nursing school and practiced bedside nursing for 20 years.
In August of 2006, a friend loaned me a preaching tape of a missionary to Nigeria. The sermon was entitled, “God Needs Volunteers.” The premise of the message was that we don’t have to wait for a lightening bolt to come from the sky to tell us to go to the mission field.
Instead, we can be like Isaiah and say, “Here am I Lord, send me.” I knelt beside my couch and told the Lord I would be pleased to go, if He would let me.
Praise the Lord He allows me to serve Him full-time in medical missions!
