A living sacrifice, in a sense means, to give your body, while you allow your desires to be slain
Today’s focus is going to primarily be on Romans 12:2
There are three awesome sections to this verse
1. What to do
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
2. How you do it
by the renewing of your mind
3. Why you do it
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God
There is a call to not be conformed to the world
To be changed on the outside only – hypocrisy
There is a call for transformation – changed on the inside and it comes out
There is an equal danger to conformity to Christianity… SOME PEOPLE GO FROM NOT BEING CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD TO BEING CONFORMED TO CHRISTIANITY AND NEVER BECOME TRANSFORMED
