CHOOSING TO DWELL & TRUST GOD FOR PROTECTION

The time, writer and background of this Psalm are all uncertain – which is good. It is easier to see how we fit into the application of the Psalm.
In this Psalm we see the psalmist, the Lord and anyone of you who desires to dwell with the Lord
I. Are you choosing to dwell with God? (vv. 1, 2, 9)
Do these verses teach that nothing bad can happen to us? (vv. 2-7, 10-13)

II. Do you know God has also chosen to deliver you? (vv. 14-16)
The voice speaking now is that of the Lord
You cannot dwell with one that you first do not love
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
