1/12/2025-Sunday School

Lesson #2 in the series: The King James Version

Text: Various

Theme: Preserving the accuracy of God’s Word

Ps 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. 7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

God’s Word is pure, but in what form?

In your mind, in what state can you say God’s Word is pure?

From God’s mouth (inspiration)? Is it pure?

In the original, written languages? Were they pure?

The translation into English?

I believe that God has chose to preserve His Word through the Greek and then through the English
