1 Timothy 1:12-17

Salvation is God’s first priority in life

Glorifying God is your ultimate priority in life

What does it mean to glorify God?

1. Praise God – I am to praise God for who He is and what He has done (Psa 50:15, 23)

2. Please God – I am created to bring God pleasure (2 Cor 5:9)

3. Perspective of God – I must give a proper perspective of who God is (2 Cor 4:6)

Isa 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

I. Your life as a Christian should be recognized by its change (vv. 12-15)

II. Your life as a Christian should be recognized by God receiving glory (vv. 16, 17)

When God changes your life then He will receive glory
