Sermon 8: How to have a Genuine Relationship with God
Text: 1 John 3:1-3
Theme: A Christian’s salvation is guaranteed because God’s love is guaranteed.
One of the primary reasons I believe that Christians doubt their salvation is that they don’t understand God’s love (they doubt God’s love)
God’s love is not an emotional love. Why is this important to know?
Jer 31:3 & Rom 5:8
God loves me so much that He is willing (and wanting) to have a relationship with me, a sinner!
God has never looked for perfection: He looks for faith
1 John 3:1-3
