Let a person talk without objecting and judging what they say. Sometimes in grief or brokenness we say the wrong things

Observe - to become aware of, especially through careful and direct attention

This is not just listening, but carefully asking questions…

Don’t just start quoting verses at them, but truly seek to understand them and what they are saying

You aren’t just trying to minister to their emotions, but to their heart

Encourage I will pray for you…
